It can be used to build relationships; support existing work and activities; to share expertise; provide resources; and influence policy, structural, and system changes with a goal to providing the best health and wellness outcomes for all.

I hope that you take some time to:

- Register on our connections site,

- Put a pin in the map to show your location, and

The focus of the November Northeast Regional Network Gathering included a look at defining rural and urban, and we touched on the issue of perception. In the January gathering, we spotlighted rural and urban intersectionality with Ellen Wolter of the University of Minnesota Extension office. We also learned more about the NE Minnesota Dental Task Force, and followed up on the Statewide Gathering by discussing one element of systems change -- mental models. If you missed it, the power points are available on this page.

The agenda for the April 9th regional gathering is posted here, and we have a packed schedule featuring two spotlight presentations along with a "flashlight" presentation. Please join us as I know you'll find it helpful and thought-provoking.

I believe that shared language helps promote understanding and a view of health equity that benefits everyone.

The Health Equity Networks are focused on building connections, strengthening communities, and amplifying the interconnected work of health equity, particularly in communities and health systems. To maintain the family-friendly nature of this page, please keep comments on topic and suitable for everyone. Also, please follow our guidelines below for posting comments.

MDH and the coordinators welcome the sharing of ideas and information. Comments made by partners on this site are reviewed by the engagement admin team.

Above all, I'd love to hear your ideas and comments. Our team reviews every one and we have tried to incorporate your input into our planning for future gatherings and trainings.
